Rising energy price, unstable employment and mental health problems are amongst the difficulties facing families in East Leeds at the moment. Many struggle to provide food during school holidays.
Andrea says,
“I struggle during the holidays as I have to work less hours to fit around childcare.
My children love the clubs so we are all happy”
We provide children living in poverty or in difficult circumstances with nutritious food, fun and activities with the chance to make friends and develop new skills during the school holidays. In partnership with Leeds Centre of Mission, the project helps to ease the extra pressure some families are under during this time.

We partner with Fareshare and Surplus to Purpose to distribute surplus food. We then supplement it with other essential staple items to help families make more balanced nutritional meals across the holidays
